Rose Water Cottage, a tiny victorian in Historic Franklin, Tennessee, is the home of a tiny handmade mouse named Eliza. Her buttery yellow cottage door is at the baseboard of the cottage's kitchen, and she can often be found taking jaunts across the wooden floors in her cast iron motor car. She has also traveled far and wide, tucked away in her tiny travel case. Her stories and adventures are chronicled in her very own series of books by her mistress, Author/Illustrator/Calligrapher, Christie Jones Ray.
Christie's journey into writing, painting with watercolors, and developing a handwritten calligraphic font began at the age of 50.
She now has 14 titles, and her custom handmade mousies reside in homes across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
